Often seen east of the Mississippi River, Juniper Tip Blight is a fairly common disease found in younger or damaged plants. Blight can be avoided by using a mix of diverse and disease resistant plants which could include native species. If you must use them be sure to avoid shaded areas and space plants to allow for good air flow.
