Well we’ve been charging forward on a project up at Wintergreen. The spring weather has not made it easy but we’re finally starting to see some really progress. The Old World Paver from Fredrick Block and Stone really works nicely in this setting.
Our crew has been busy with a large landscaping project at Washington & Lee University. Cooling temperatures slow above ground growth, and moister soil encourages strong root development so it’s a perfect time for this project.
Thomas Jefferson is still overseeing this project. There is a temporary access road to the right that will be removed soon so that we can continue on with installation of the brick quadrants. The sandstone edging has been a challenge to cut in the cold weather so we have been happy for the heat wave. ...
It is with deep respect and intention that we go to work everyday and our diligence has paid off. We are installing a permeable brick terrace at the most historic site we have ever had the privilege of working at.
